Itinerary
Arrive at Jammu Railway Station or Airport and transfer to Katra. Check into your hotel and relax. Evening free for leisure or local shopping in Katra market. Overnight stay at hotel. Highlights: Scenic drive from Jammu, Katra Market, Temple Preparations.
Early morning, begin your trek / pony / helicopter ride to the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine (13 km). Spend time offering prayers and experiencing divine peace at the holy cave. Return to Katra by evening for rest. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel. Highlights: Vaishno Devi Temple, Bhawan Darshan, Spiritual Experience.
After breakfast, drive through the scenic mountain roads to Srinagar — the “Paradise on Earth.” On arrival, check into your deluxe houseboat on Dal Lake. Enjoy an evening Shikara ride on Dal Lake, witnessing the sunset and floating markets. Dinner and overnight stay in houseboat. Highlights: Dal Lake, Houseboat Stay, Shikara Ride.
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, famous for snow and adventure sports. Enjoy the Gondola cable car ride (ticket extra) up to Apharwat Peak. Drive to Pahalgam, the “Valley of Shepherds.” En route, visit Saffron fields and Avantipura ruins. Explore Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari (by local taxi). Dinner and overnight stay in Pahalgam. Highlights: Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, Lidder River, Pine Forests.
